CULINARY HERITAGE WEEK
Seven days to discover and enjoy Emilia Romagna’s (our region) unique culinary tradition, visiting local producers and learning how to cook traditional dishes with local ingredients. You will visit the following locations:
- The Parmigiano Reggiano DOP cheese factory of Dismano
- The Organic vineyards of Corte d’Aibo
- The Modena Aceto Balsamic attics of La Cà dal Non
- Le Cascate organic farmers
- The Caciosteria restaurant of Domenico for a Cheese tasting
During this cooking course you will spend 5 days working on products that are unique in the world and therefore (in this form) can only be produced in our region .
Two cooking classes + 1 pizza party
8 days / 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday)
Minimum class size: 4 people/ Maximum class size: 20 people
DETAILED PROGRAM
Day 1 – Saturday
Arrival & check in after 3 p.m. & Welcome Bag + indulge yourself with a glass of wine and some salami enjoying our magical sunsets
Day 2 – Sunday
Group welcome lunch at Borgo Pianello. Let’s get to know each other while enjoying our cuisine
Day 3 – Monday
Morning: Italian breakfast + Excursion to the organic farm Le Cascate to pick vegetables for our Km 0 cooking class. Lunch (aperitivo, lunch and wine tasting).
Day 4 – Tuesday
Morning Italian breakfast + Dismano cheese factory visit.
Evening: we will enjoy tasting special Italian cheeses and dinner at Caciosteria’s
Day 5 – Wednesday
Morning: Italian breakfast+ cooking class with unique ingredients from our region
Lunch (aperitivo, lunch and wine tasting)
Day 6 – Thursday
Morning Italian breakfast, Excursion to La Cà dal Non (balsamic production) and Wine tasting and lunch at Corte d’Aibo
Day 7 – Friday
Morning free time
Afternoon: pizza cooking class in our own wood oven, farewell Aperitivo-Pizza party & wine tasting at Borgo.
Day 8 – Saturday
Check out at 10 a.m and departure.
